One of the essential aspects of any SEPA conference is the time given to delegates for workshop and paper presentations. This year, we have set aside times on Thursday and Friday for delegates to present their own work to their planetarium colleagues. Any registered delegate is welcome to submit a proposal for a workshop or paper session, as are vendor delegates, with the restriction that no sales pitches or advertisement are allowed at the following session times.
For this conference, we are opening submissions to any subject and topic that you believe is beneficial to the planetarium community. General planetarium subjects could include such topics as show production and presentation, outreach events and working with the public, educational or professional development opportunities, and grant-writing and fundraising, to name a few.
Workshop and paper sessions will occur concurrently at the following times:
- Thursday: 8:30-10 a.m., 10:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m., and 2-3:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30-10 a.m.
Thursday workshop and paper sessions will occur in a classroom setting, while Friday sessions have the opportunity of utilizing a 5-meter inflatable dome in the Vendor Hall (projection system to be determined). There may be some time available during Buehler Planetarium and Seminole State Theatre sessions; we will advise on their availability in the coming months.

Workshop and paper submissions are due by June 30, 2014. We will contact all delegates with accepted submissions by July 3. We will try to accommodate as many paper and workshop sessions as we can.
