Mini-LIPS

Workshop Coordinators – Katherine Hunt and Diana Yoder
Description
The Live Interactive Planetarium Symposium (LIPS) is an annual, multi-day event centered on anything and everything to do with live, interactive planetarium programs. It doesn’t matter whether you teach in a portable or fixed dome, with a digital system or a starball; if you do live, interactive programs (or want to start), LIPS is for you! Mini-LIPS is meant to give you a taste of what happens at a full LIPS.
Past LIPS sessions have focused on connecting with your audience; enhancing performance skills; classroom management techniques; sample activities; etc. All LIPS attendees participate in all sessions together, creating a unique sense of cohesion and community. The Mini-LIPS has an attendance cap of 20 people.
